Terms and Conditions

By placing a booking you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted our terms and conditions.

Completion of the booking process and acceptance of our terms and conditions forms your contract with us.

 

Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

A place on a Course is offered on the basis of one handler training one dog. Training fees are payable in advance and are non refundable in the event of absence. Makeup classes may be available but not guaranteed.

Payment of fees should be made at the time of placing a booking. Failure to make payment within 24 hours will result in the booking being canceled.

Under the Consumer Rights Act you may cancel your purchase within a period of 14 working days beginning the moment you place your order.

There is no right of cancellation where the class begins within this 14 day period. There will be no right to cancel or receive a refund for any service following the 14 days after making the order.

All cancellations are subject to a £7.50 admin fee.

More than 24 hours before the course date but less than 72hrs hours notice to cancel will be subject to 50% of the fee

Less than 24 hours’ but less than 12 hours to cancel will be subject to 75% of the fee.

Less than 12 hours’ notice will be subject to 100% of the fee.

Classes with Rolling Starts - Booking times & dates are fixed. We offer a quality training service and to maintain this level of service we have to ensure we have enough bookings to pay for our venue. Cancellations must be made in writing or by email.

Cancellations will be subject to the following fees:

If the participant fails to attend the course the full course fees are payable. 

If the participant misses two sessions and fails to advise us that they cannot attend the entire course the booking will be forfeit without a refund.

Private lessons (1-2-1's) - Once a booking time & date is confirmed then this service is reserved for you personally.

Cancellations will be subject to the following fees:

More than 48 hours notice to cancel is subject to a £7.50 admin fee.

More than 24 hours but less than 48 hours notice to cancel will be subject to 50% of the fee

Less than 24 hours’ but less than 12 hours to cancel will be subject to 75% of the fee.

Less than 12 hours’ notice will be subject to 100% of the fee.

Events & Workshops - A substitute person with agreement from Waverunners Agility may be named at any time before the class, event or workshop an admin fee of £7.50 will be payable ON ALL refunds or transfers of booking.

 

Course Content & Material

Waverunners Agility reserves the right to change the content, timing, dates, venue or instructor. We try to avoid this as much as possible, but sometimes this is unavoidable. We will then reschedule all the bookings to an alternative week or course date. Waverunners Agility will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the course or cancellations.

 

Any written content in handouts or training material given to you remains the property of Waverunners Agility and must not be reproduced without prior written permission.

 

Data Protection & Privacy

The information on your booking form will only be used as a record of you and your dog, and to contact you in relation to dog training activities and will not be passed on to any third parties.

We may send to you emails that are relevant to our club; ie: news, cancellations, reminders, training information, events, and shows. If you do not wish to receive these please unsubscribe from our mailing list by sending an email to waverunners@gmx.com

 

Photo/Video Release

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you give Waverunners Agility permission to publish in print, electronic, or video format the likeness or image of you and/or your dog. You release all claims against Waverunners Agility with respect to privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright ownership and publication, including any claim for compensation related to the use of the materials.

We will not publish any images of children under the age of 18 without prior permission.

Please email waverunners@gmx.com should you wish to opt-out of Photo/Video rights.

CLUB RULES

Please keep dogs on leads at all times unless otherwise directed.

You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your dog while attending training and are required to clean up after your dog should they go to the toilet.

Pick up after your dogs and do not allow dogs to pee in the training area or on the equipment – accidents do sometimes happen, so let your trainer know so that the area can be washed down.

Please respect the personal space of other dogs and ensure you stand at an appropriate distance away from dogs who are not keen on others.

You must follow instructions at all times, including all safety instructions and don't use equipment when your trainer is not present.

Equipment is designed for dog use only and Waverunners Agility takes no responsibility for loss or damages that may occur when equipment is in use.

It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is fit and healthy to attend training, your dog must not have any infectious disease that could be transmitted to any other dogs. If in doubt about your dog’s health please consult a veterinarian.

Handlers/Owners undertake to ensure that any dog being brought to the venue is free from infection or illness.
Kennel Cough is highly contagious and a Kennel Cough outbreak could close the club for 3-4 weeks. It must be reported to your instructor if you dog has either been in contact with a carrier or at a show where Kennel Club has been reported. You should not attend club for the next 7 days as your dog could become infected and pass this on without showing symptoms.

Most classes, events will be unable to accommodate bitches in season, please inform your trainer before your training session.

We use reward based training therefore harsh handling will NOT be allowed under any circumstances. Your trainer reserves the right to request any persons to leave the premises or cease the session if they are abusive to any other person or dog. We do not allow prong or choke chain collars, slip leads or extendible leads in classes. If you would like any help with selecting equipment please let your trainer know. Please ensure you have lots of treats and your dog's favourite toy available whilst attending training.

Any accidents or issues involving a person or a dog must be reported immediately to the owner or trainer.

Whilst every reasonable care will be taken to ensure the safety of dogs, handlers, spectators and personal possessions whilst on the training venue, Waverunners Agility and any individual associated with the organisation accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury to dogs, persons or property, howsoever caused.

Cars are parked at their owner’s risk. We do not accept any responsibility for theft or damage to cars or property whilst at our training venues.

Friends & Family members are welcome to attend classes. If you invite someone to our classes it is your responsibility to make them aware of the information above and inform them of our general rules.

All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who should be able to remain in view and accompany the child onsite at all times.

By submitting a registration with us to any course, 121 session, event or workshop you are agreeing to the above.
